Boron Deficiency in Kohlrabi

Leaf symptoms in kohlrabi are only observed in cases of severe boron deficiency. The leaves become slightly curled and crinkled, and are held in an unusually erect position. If the boron supply is very limited in the early stages of growth, the edible part of the stem does not develop, but if the supply is not so limited, the kohlrabi will develop further and the surface becomes rough and watery.
