U.S. Borax Sponsoring Boron Day

Boron Day logoHighlighting the importance of boron as a nutrient in various crop management plans, U.S. Borax is proud to sponsor the 2021 Boron Day hosted virtually August 17-19. The event is organized by Research and Extension Support Group (GAPE/ESALQ-USP).

Showcasing boron as a micronutrient that increases crop productivity health, resilience and yield, Boron Day will provide both educational and networking opportunities for growers and professionals across the fertilizer industry. Participants come from across the region including Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, Mexico, and the United States. The event is free to attend and will be presented live from 2:00 – 5:20 p.m. (Brazilian time) and 12:00 – 3:20 p.m. CDT August 17, 18, and 19.

In addition, the event will offer insights from global, industry-leading professionals and researchers for several different crops, as well as sources of boron, application strategy, and plant physiology.

In total, 14 research professionals will present their findings along with information on the following topics:

Since the beginning of this event, we have been honored to support such an impactful resource for the boron fertilizer community.

Most presentations will be in Portuguese with simultaneous English subtitles. Those that are in English will have simultaneous Portuguese subtitles.
