Marrow

{Cucurbita pepo}

Boron deficiency in marrow

When marrow is boron deficient, new leaves are small, brittle, and misshapen with long lobes. Cracks appear at regular intervals across the upper surface of the petiole. The petioles become “S” shaped when seen from the side. Longitudinal cracks develop on the fruit.
