Virtual Roundtable on Micronutrient Fertilizers for Food and Nutrition Security

Description

An emerging concern in India is widespread micronutrient deficiency in soils and crops. Most soils globally are witnessing multi-micronutrient deficiencies, dominated by zinc (Zn) and boron (B). This adversely impacts yield and quality of crops. Agriculture experts in India recognize the importance of agronomic bi-fortification This virtual event is coordinated by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in partnership with International Zinc Association (IZA) and U.S. Borax, part of Rio Tinto.

Sessions will focus on:
  • Micronutrient fertilizer policy
  • New innovations in micornutrient fertilizers
  • Domestic and international best practice panel discussion
