Far West Agribusiness Association

Description

The 2019 January Winter Conference of the Far West Agribusiness Association. Stop by booth 21 to discuss how boron can help your crops with our expert agronomist and regional sales manager.

In addition, our agronomist will be giving two presentations (times to be determined):

How Do Plants Uptake and Use boron?
Boron is an essential micro-nutrient for plant development.  Wendall Boehlje will explore the means of boron uptake in plants and the structures of the plants where boron can be found.

In some cases, a plant may have boron deficiency and display specific visual signs; in other cases, plants may not have obvious symptoms. You will learn how to make sure boron is not a yield limiting factor in a production system.

Boron Sources:  Fact and Fiction
A discussion on the different sources of borates and their efficiency in the field. Also, talks about the availablity in the soil solution for plant uptake.
